With exclusive use and space for up to 150 guests during ceremonies and sit-down receptions. For your evening celebration, The Barn can accommodate up to 250 guests. The 2 ½ acre gardens, adorned with romantic roses, sweeping hedges, and a serene informal lake garden featuring a lit fountain. Dressing Rooms
We prioritise your comfort and convenience on your special day. Our dressing rooms are available from 7:30 in the morning, providing a relaxing space for your preparations. As the day unfolds, the second half of the wedding party joins from 12pm, each having their own dedicated dressing room for a smooth and enjoyable getting ready experience.
Illuminated Gardens
Experience the magic of The Old Kent Barn's illuminated gardens, featuring five distinct illuminated locations nestled within our landscaped grounds. Positioned just a short stroll away from the barn, these enchanting spots come to life, particularly in the Winter. This unique setting offers an ideal opportunity for couples to share a quiet interlude, surrounded by the illuminated gardens, as they reflect on the memorable journey of their day. Celebrate under the stars, making your wedding truly unforgettable.
Accommmodation
As the celebrations wind down, couples can retreat to the comfort of our newlywed suite, part of our esteemed 5-Star B&B. This suite awarded both Gold and Breakfast distinctions. Close family members are also accommodated in two additional rooms. If desired, these rooms can remain unoccupied at no extra cost.
There is plenty local accommodation for guests in the Folkestone area. Including options such as the Holiday Inn and Premier Inn provide convenient stays for your guests.
Food
Our cuisine is the crowning achievement of recent years. The desire from the outset was to create restaurant quality food on a banqueting scale. We’ve worked hard with head chef, James Crank, to produce a menu our clients will adore. Hearty, yet refined dishes are designed with simple flavours & presented in a unique way by a team of highly trained, dedicated chefs whose passion shines through every element on which they work.
